I was able to open and fasten the pin one-handed without much trouble, which was a nice surprise. They do feel a little delicate when handling them, but once attached they actually feel fairly sturdy and secure.
These brooches are so beautiful!!! They are smaller than I expected, but quality is not heavy, very lightweight but stunning!! They sparkle and shine perfectly. I had no issues with the clasp and I didn't experience any breakage. They are a small bright statement that gives you just enough to finish your outfit off. I do recommend.
